Cooler Version 2.0 is the ultimate tool to customize functionality inside specific applications. With Cooler, an administrator has the ability to change the behavior of an application. Cooler restricts nearly any keystroke combination, menu item, dialog box, dialog box item, window control, or toolbar.

When using Cooler with Central Control, the administrator can customize Cooler security based on user login. User specified settings integrate with Novell or Windows NT/2000/2003 user groups.

Cooler consists of two different yet equally important components. The first component allows the administrator to configure the restrictions, while the second implements the desired restrictions. All of the settings that Cooler uses are stored in Cooler configuration files. A configuration file can contain information about any number of programs and restrictions for those programs.

One of the most useful features of the Cooler program is its ability to insert one file into another file for modular building. This allows administrators to use the Cooler configuration files as building blocks for application protection.
