Central Control is the complete remote administration tool for Fortres 101, Clean Slate, and Cooler. Central Control gives administrators the ability to centrally store and manage Fortres Grand security configuration files for all of the users on a Windows NT/2000/2003 or Novell NetWare network. By building on the existing network users and groups, administrators can easily create configuration files based on groups and then assign users to these groups. Because the configuration files are stored on the server, the user's security settings are automatically retrieved regardless of which computer they use. In addition to providing a central location for a user's security configuration, Central Control also provides several useful tools that an administrator can use to remotely perform common tasks. Added features for Fortres 101 and Clean Slate include upgrading the remote installation, logging off, shutting down, or rebooting the computer. You can even execute any program when using Fortres 101 with Central Control All of these features are accessible from any client computer, allowing an administrator to perform all of these tasks from their own workstation or any other computer running on the network.
